On March 13, 2023, the Lumberton ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted to nominate Superintendent, Dr. Tony Tipton, as Superintendent of the Year.

This morning, August 14, 2023, the LISD Board of Trustees approved a plan submitted by the administration to significantly increase the compensation package for LISD bus drivers. The compensation package also includes hefty stipends to incentivize existing internal employees to acquire their CDL or compensate those with a CDL to drive a daily route.

Changes to School Policy Regarding E-Cigarettes, Vaping and Related Substances
